Wally is interested in music, but her family lives in poor conditions in New York. She still asserts that she wants to be a conductor, so her parents tell her in the argue that they will no longer care about her and that she is actually adopted. Her original name Antonio Brico takes her back to the hometown Amsterdam, where she started to train in this for woman uncommon profession.
