I was born in Yatesboro, PA., about one mile from the funeral home. Several of my relatives were buried out of that funeral home, including my grandparents. It was exciting to see in the credits of the movie that the people of Rural Valley were thanked for their cooperation during the filming. Great memories of that area. (*,2)

This is the old Western State School and Hospital, sometimes referred to as Morganza.

It has been torn down and replaced with office buildings. There is a cemetery located on the property which still exists and fenced in. It's visited quite frequently.
