Movie or TV Series Plot
Three friends, Burt Berendsen, Harold Woodman and Valerie Voze, meet in Amsterdam after the Great War, but later go their separate ways. They meet ten years later in New York: Burt as a doctor helping veterans with their injuries, Harold as a lawyer. They both get into a pickle from which they can be helped by the prominent businessman Tom Voze, in whose house they meet Valerie again. Their joint investigation into the murder of General Bill Meekins leads them on the trail of a nationwide rebellion that was supposed to be based on veterans.
