Sherlock Holmes is a modern take on a classical and timeless character. In the movie, a string of brutal murders terrorizes all of London, and it's up to legendary detective Sherlock Holmes, and his army medical partner Dr. Watson to go together on the case and discover who the killer is. Eventually they discover that it was Lord Blackwood who was the culprit of the crimes, and who is a devotee of death and the dark magical arts. Though, eventually Blackwood rises seemingly from the grave and drags both Sherlock and Watson into the occult world of the strange, who must now stop Blackwood from enacting his ultimate plans.
