About The Movie

The story takes place in the former Czechoslovakia in the 1950s. Captain Hakl (Ivan Trojan) investigates a theft in a jewellery shop. The case is taken over by a police specialist, Major Zenke (Sebastian Koch), under whose guidance the investigation takes a different direction than Hakl's instincts as an experienced criminalist would suggest. Hakl continues to investigate on his own. As it turns out towards the end, he can trust no one and nothing.
