Cartouche (Cartrige in French) is a big heated thief living in Paris during the 18th century. As his enemies forces him to leave the capital, he enrolls in the army where he meets La Taupe (The Mole) and La Douceur (The Sweetness). The tree Compagnons with whom he will rob the rich, using the weapons they stole from their regiment. One day Cartouche will fall in love with a lovely young girl, who turns out to be the daughter of his worst enemy.
