The charming Lizzie McGuire (Hilary Duff) arrives in Rome with her class to take part in a school field trip. The twist comes when Italian pop star Paolo (Yani Gellman) mistakes Lizzie for his singing partner Isabella. Lizzie escapes the surveillance of her strict professor to spend romantic moments with Paolo in Rome, while agreeing to stand in for Isabella at a singing performance at the Colosseum. But are the young Italian's intentions as pure as Lizzie's?
