A romantic comedy set against the backdrop of the Cold War. Elsa, a middle-aged fashionista and clairvoyant, is in complete control of her life - until the man she once loved and lost walks through the door of her hat shop. We are in Helsinki in 1962. Jan, a Czech jazz musician, is in town to perform at the "International Youth and Student Festival". For more than two decades, Elsa has believed this man is dead... At first, Elsa wants to keep her distance from Jan. And especially from the festival, which for her is just another attempt by the world's communists to brainwash the good, trusting citizens of Western countries like Finland. But Jan is persistent, persuasive and charming. When Elsa finally overcomes her fear of love and commitment, she realizes that if they want to spend more than just seven days of the festival together, there is only one solution...
