Movie or TV Series Plot
It’s been ten years since Dante’s (Brian O’Halloran) tumultuous day of work, and he’s still employed at the local Quick Stop. When he shows up to work one morning, he discovers the store has burnt down. Jobless, he and Randal (Jeff Anderson) begin working at Mooby’s, a typical fast-food restaurant full of all the fries, burgers, and minimum wage salaries you’d expect. Inspired by the change his new job has brought about, Dante’s inspired to make another big change and move away with his girlfriend Emma (Jennifer Schwalbach Smith) and start a new life in Florida. Randal is less than pleased about his friend’s planned departure. The day before Dante hits the road and heads to Florida, Randal throws him a goodbye party and the resulting events cause Dante to question whether or not he’s truly ready to leave it all behind.
