Dante Hicks (Brian O’Halloran) works at a convenience store in town and today is his day off. Unfortunately, his day is anything but a day of relaxation when his boss calls him into work. This is the first event in a string of unfortunate setbacks for Dante as things begin to take a turn for the worse all day long. First, he must deal with his nagging girlfriend pushing him to go to college and threatening to leave him, then there’s the fact that he has a hockey game later in the afternoon that he cannot miss. Throw in the fact that his ex-girlfriend is getting married today, and his other ex-girlfriend has died recently and Dante needs the day to attend her wake. Top it off with Dante’s annoying co-worker Randal (Jeff Anderson), obnoxious customers, and his boss running late who is supposed to replace him. Dante knows he never should’ve answered the phone this morning. Will he survive the day? Will the store survive the day? And what about his love life and all those current and ex-girlfriends?
