Dick Avery is a photographer looking for the cover woman for the famous magazine. As he tries to bring fashion closer to ordinary but clever women, he decides to shoot in a local bookstore. There he meets saleswoman Jo, and decides to take her for a big shooting in Paris and turn her into a model.
