As soon as the incorrigible con artist Viktor Vauthier leaves prison, he launches another round of scams to raise money for his daughter Katherine's dowry. He wants to fake the sale of his mistress's house and a luxury yacht.
However, he is afraid of one thing: the probation officer who is supposed to check whether he is living a decent life. Instead of a seasoned probation officer, a female probation officer arrives, and a beautiful one at that. Charlotte charms Viktor and he even falls in love with her. But even that doesn't stop him from participating in the theft of a painting...
