Scientific research claims that if people know each other as small children, something prevents them from falling in love as adults. Rosie and Alex, the heroes of the romantic comedy Love, Rosie, have known each other since kindergarten. At the time of their first loves and sexual experiences, they discuss their experiences in appropriate detail, but the other person is not always entirely comfortable with this. Why? Be that as it may, Rosie stays in Dublin while Alex goes to university in Boston. An ocean stands between them, as well as other relationships, affairs, even other marriages, commitments, and children. Both of them experience moments that are more or less crazy and entertaining, occasionally meeting and falling into a swimming pool together before returning to their respective lives.
